This month we're having a recruitment push - all levels, all classes, all qualities of players - come one, come all. We'll take anyone - but bear in mind that if you're not up to snuff (or if your rude or abusive (more than the officers)) then you won't last long..

New beginnings, new alliances
Sunday 26th August
Well, it's been a while - over a year in fact since we've updated this, and there is news to report.
Shadow Fire is thriving, I'm back (just call me the prodigal Paladin) and we have a good number of 70s.
We also have some new friends in the shape of the Gentle Killers guild, who we have already run several successful instances with.
Our Glorious Leader and our First Lady are a combined steady hand at our helm, and we are forging forward toward running heroics, once all the rep grinding is out of the way ;)
It's been a sad, sad few days
Wednesday 14th June
Over the last few days we have lost Twentysix, Glodurin and Cassei. There are various reasons I'm not going in to, too many sides to see and perhaps just sometimes, not enough openess :p
With the loss of our main two healers and rogue there is some thinking to do. Maygen will start seeing what other guilds are upto and perhaps we can entice those three back as charas other than their alt's.

Let's see. Today, Maygen reached rank 11 after doing what's felt like years of PvP. So now I guess that little gnome will finally have that mount she's been after! Congratulations!!
What have I done... Not a huge amount. I did manage to complete the Priest epic quest the other day, and have now got the Splinter of Neldrassil - I just need the Eye of Divinity now. Was with Brotherhood the other day when they took down the 3rd boss in AQ20, oh and was there on an attempt at Ragnaros too!!
Cassei and Glod seem to be grinding rep heavily in Silithus (you have no idea how hard it was to not spell that differently). Not sure how they're getting on exactly, they need some AQ runs.
We have our tank back!!!! (don't we, May?)
Shadow Fire For Rent
Thursday 23rd March
It seems a few of us have managed to get in to such places as Molten Core and Onyxia's Lair. Though not all together! Twentysix has been adopted and given the title of Honorary ShadowBlade Rogue by the... ShadowBlade Rogues. He's lucky enough to be allowed on their raids to Molten Core and just last night we took down Onyxia on the first attempt! Thess also came along for the ride last night and I've dragged him in to MC before.
Maygen has also had a recent visit to Molten Core and picked up 2 pieces of his Might set. Talk about lucky! One more for that set bonus.
So yeah, that's about it. Maybe one day when we have a few more 60s (come on Twoo) then we can arrange some sort of alliance, who knows!

Well I think it was agreed that the Horde Day went quite well besides a 'minor' problem with the boss of SFK...we'll leave that topic for now.
With various alt's having grown a few lvls and a little more interest in the horde side recently another Horde Day will take place this thursday for all to come along to :)

Maygs, TS, Cayt and Thess hit DM and the epic Quel'sarrer sword book dropped from a boss mob.
Now I'm just bugging various massive end game guilds to take me to Onyxia to get my pretty damned funky sword :D

Twentysomething
Monday 21st November
So I've obviously been spending my time productively. We now have a level 60 priest in the guild; Twentysix. My next challenge is to bring a warlock up to 60, but don't take my word on that just yet, we'll see how it goes.
Maygen, our new high level gnome tank, will soon be 60. She and Ts will soon be duoing Blackrock Spire and Onyxia. Look out for that!
In other news, we have a few new recruits. Off the top of my head, Oneofeight and Bigdave.
Now, Maygen, I want to see you tank Drakki. kthxbye.
Time to Raid
Monday 12th September
It's time we started some smaller raids going, most of us could do with some extra cash :) With it we may also be able to draw people in as we get ourselves more organised for such events.
Tomorrow (13/09), we'll try to get everyone together for a bash at BRD. When there's further information I'm sure TT will post on the forums :D
Recruitment 'eye-out'

Just a notice to all :)
Just thinking with our alts all around the same lvl, and with alts of alts appearing we should perhaps keep our eyes open that little bit more for those good, friendly ones.
Gonna try to take Flute lvling without too much 'big' lvl help and see who's out there :)
If needed I shall use my skills of 'yeah my main's lvl 60 with a few friends at 60, fancy joining?' :D

It's Like We're Starting Over
Thursday 16th June
Well, the veterans of Shadow Fire are mostly in the upper 50s now - Flavium and Cayt both 60. And it's not that we're completely bored at the high levels, but personally I find it extremely difficult to find the time to do what I need to do. So, we all have our alts to keep us busy.
Our alts are around the 20s now, and we stormed through Deadmines last night with our new recruit, Cassei.
Even got a few nice drops, second time in a row I've been through there and a blue ring has dropped.
Shed a Tear
Saturday 14th May
Oakin has left Shadow Fire. Not because he didn't like us and thought we were a bunch of wasters, but because he spends more time on WoW then a lot of us put together. So, the level 60 Hunter has gone and joined Clan Bearhawk (I knew i shouldn't have introduced them) so that he can participate in more of their raids and end game dungeons.
One of his alts is with us, Jailedmartha, so he'll still be stopping by to spam the guild channel, don't worry about that. In fact, we look forward to it!

Zul'Farrak

Me and Oakin went through Zul'Farrak with a few of the Clan Bearhawk guys last night. Went pretty well, a slight hicup with a roll - but we won't go in to that.
We should be running it with some others from Shadow Fire Sunday night. Don't forget to confirm if you're in on the forum. So far it looks like just me and Cayt, though i'm sure Oakin said he was up for it last night.
