Monday 10th November 2003
Man, have i been busy at work. Helps the days pass, not long now before we move in to our new place. They've told us now that it'll probably be a couple of weeks into December now, so we're going to be staying with the 'in-laws', that's not so bad now - save us some rent too 
We picked up S's car on saturday, a black fiesta - it's in really good shape for it's age. She is actually a very good driver, she's got her test on friday and i don't think she'll have any problems - she just needs some practice reversing but she reckons she's better in her instructors car (with power assisted steering).
Soon be christmas again, i'll have to make sure i go get S's presents soon, otherwise i'll forget. She's sorting out everyone elses as usual, which is good

S failed her driving test on friday 
She pulled off her manoeuvres perfectly but the examiner said she was driving too slow. She realised afterwards that she had never driven in the rain (most of her lessons had been in the summer) and it was bucketing it down. She's got another test booked at the start of december.
I spent most of the weekend just sat down in the dark with a banging headache. It started Friday morning and it's just finally gone this morning. S did drive us to MK though, we did a bit of shopping (stuff for her new job) and came home, then we rented The Core yesterday.
I put my computer into hibernation on friday, so i'd just start it up this morning and be back to where i was, but it looks like we must have had a power cut that started my machine up then another that restarted it - now i don't know what i was doing.
Friday 28th November 2003
Getting into the habit of scraping the car off in the mornings now (also at night when i leave work). I don't like this cold weather. I also hardly slept a wink last night and am absolutely exhausted today.
We're moving out of our house tomorrow. We've got a van booked, although, i'm too young to drive it (have to be over 25?!?) so S's dad will be doing the honors this time. Our apartment isn't ready yet so we're moving all our stuff into storage and staying at S's parents' house - it's gonna be crowded, there will be 7 people in the house and it will look like a car showroom with 6 cars parked out front. We'll go and see the sales people tomorrow to try and get a date out of them.
I know it's friday, but i haven't got much of a relaxing weekend.
